About Clutter Cleaner of South Carolina

A practical team serving South Carolina.

Led day to day by Seth Gregg and Lara Dawson, the South Carolina team helps families make the work around a full home, a move, an estate, or a property deadline feel more organized and manageable.

  • A customized project plan
  • One clear point of coordination
  • Serving all of South Carolina
Our mission

Bring structure to the home without losing sight of the people.

Clutter Cleaner of South Carolina helps families and property decision-makers organize estate cleanouts, downsizing and organizing, auctions and estate sales, move management, home sale preparation, and code compliance support.

We begin by understanding the household, the belongings that need family review, the person authorized to make decisions, and the date shaping the work. The proposed scope explains what is included, what the South Carolina team can coordinate, and when an outside provider may be needed.

That clarity matters when several responsibilities overlap. A practical plan can keep a move, a property handoff, a sale conversation, and family decisions connected without treating them as the same task.

The experience behind Clutter Cleaner

Founded by downsizing and cleanout expert Matt Paxton.

Matt came to this work after his father, stepfather, and both grandfathers died within one year, leaving him with the task of clearing their homes. That experience gave him firsthand perspective on the decisions families face during an estate cleanout or a downsizing project.

That personal task shaped the company he later built. For more than 20 years, Matt has helped families sort homes, downsize, and decide what to keep. Viewers may know him from Hoarders, Legacy List with Matt Paxton, and Filthy Fortunes.

Matt is the author of Keep the Memories, Lose the Stuff, created in collaboration with AARP. His work shaped a simple idea: treat people with care while helping them make progress at home. The Clutter Cleaner franchise lets more families ask for that kind of help.

How we approach the work

Committed to compassion and care.

Helping seniors and families with respect, dignity, and practical guidance begins with a clear working style.

Your memories and your peace of mind matter. The team works to keep decisions visible, responsibilities understandable, and personal choices with the people authorized to make them.

Compassion

We listen first, especially when a move, loss, health change, or full home has made the next step difficult.

Professionalism

The proposed scope identifies the work, responsibilities, timing, and any outside-provider coordination that may be needed.

Respect

Personal decisions remain with the household, and belongings marked for family review stay outside an approved removal path.

Efficiency

The work is organized in a practical sequence around the property, access, decision-makers, and the dates that matter.

How it works

A clear path when the next step feels complicated.

Every household is different. These five steps give the conversation and proposed work a clear shape.

  1. Consultation

Start with the home, the people involved, and the next deadline.

  2. Estimate

Review the proposed scope before deciding how to move forward.

  3. Customized project plan

Organize priorities, responsibilities, and the working sequence.

  4. Project execution and resources

Coordinate the approved plan and the resources it requires.

  5. New beginnings

Complete the handoff with a clearer home and a clearer next step.

Start with a conversation

Bring the home, the deadline, and the hardest decision.

The team can help clarify which service belongs at the center of the plan.
